Alzheimer’s disease is perhaps one of the most misunderstood diseases in existence today. It’s often misdiagnosed, with no accurate test to determine if an individual is afflicted, and sadly there’s no cure or one treatment option that works for everyone. Alzheimer’s progression is often heart breaking to watch, as the person you once knew slowly disappears into a world of their own. The internet is filled with information and tools regarding the disease from not only medical professionals, but caregivers as to what approaches, medication combinations and support programs have shown positive responses.
